About cosc.ie

cosc.ie publishes plain-English guides for Irish readers on CBD, functional mushrooms and everyday wellness.

Who we are

cosc.ie is run by the team behind Dr. Hemp Me, an Irish CBD brand trading since 2018. When an article mentions Dr. Hemp Me, it is our own brand and we label it as such.

How we write

• We say what research shows and what it doesn't, and we label early (animal or lab) research as early.
• We don't make medical claims. Nothing on this site is medical advice.
• We give the honest picture on Irish rules, even where it's stricter than the industry likes to admit.
• Every article shows when it was last reviewed.

About this domain

The cosc.ie address was previously used by Cosc, the Irish state's National Office for the Prevention of Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence, which has closed. Its work is now done by Cuan, the state agency. We have no connection with Cosc, Cuan or the Department of Justice. If you came here looking for Cosc, here is where to get help now.
