For more information click here 07/04/2011 The Development of a Council of Europe Convention on Preventing and Combating Violence against Women and Domestic Violence The Council of Europe established a committee in December 2008 to prepare one or more legall bindin instrument(s) "to prevent and combat domestic violence including specific forms of violence against women, other forms of violence against women, and to protect and support the victims of such violence as as prosecute the perpetrators".
