Awareness Raising Grant Scheme 2013 relating to Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence

Cosc is pleased to announce that the Awareness Raising Grant Scheme relating to Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence commenced  on Friday 22nd March 2013 with public advertisements in three of the National Newspapers.

Cosc invites applications for funding in 2013 from organisations in Ireland to raise awareness of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence in relation to women and men, including older people living in the community. Joint/collaborative applications between two or more groups are particularly welcome.

Cosc, in conjunction with the Disability Policy Division in the Department of Justice and Equality, are providing under the Cosc grant scheme in 2013, a separate stream of funding for projects that will develop and deliver appropriate and targeted communication to raise awareness and increase recognition of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence among people with disabilities.

The closing date for receipt of completed applications is no later than 5pm on Friday 26th April 2013. The application form, guidance manual and brand guidelines for use of Cosc logo can be found on the awareness raising page, or can be obtained from Ms Caroline Fitzpatrick at cxfitzpatrick@justice.ie or Tel: 01 4768680
