The 2013 Annual Work Programme for the Daphne III Programme (2007-2013) has recently been approved by the European Commission.  The priorities under which projects will be considered for funding in 2013 are set out in the work programme.  Full information is available here.

Daphne III is an EC funding programme, the general objective of which is to contribute to the protection of children, young people and women against all forms of violence and to attain a high level of health protection, well-being and social cohesion.

The programme's specific objective is to contribute to the prevention of, and the fight against, all forms of violence occurring in the public or the private domain against children, young people and women, including sexual exploitation and trafficking in human beings.  It aims to take preventive measures and provide support and protection for victims and groups at risk.

It is expected that the call for proposals for action grants for 2013 under the programme will be made shortly and potential applicants should monitor the Daphne III web-page regularly for further information - Click here

Applications for action grants must be made through the EC Priamos system and applicants must ensure that they are registered on the system.  Applicants are advised to use the Daphne Toolkit Website to obtain information on previous successful projects and information on applications.  Full details, including links to the Priamos system, are available on the Daphne III web-page –  Click here
