New Look Cosc.ie Site Launches

This month, Cosc has re-launched its website – www.cosc.ie. Completely re-designed to ensure important information can be found quickly and easily, cosc.ie has also been significantly expanded and developed.

A key development has been the inclusion of comprehensive information for those experiencing domestic and/or sexual violence. For the first time information on the wide range of services in Ireland has been brought together in a single website. Cosc.ie can be used as an information portal for victims, their families and their friends. It will allow them to quickly identify the services available to them in their area.

In addition, key stakeholders and NGOs can now access information on Cosc’s research and communications activities. Additional Information on progress in developing the National Strategy on Domestic and Sexual Violence and on funding programmes is also available.

Basic advice is available from the website itself  but Cosc is clear that the real experts are those working in frontline services, and the public are encouraged to contact their local services for further advice and support.

Visitors to the "whats new" section of the site can also subscribe online to receive the monthly Cosc newsletter by email. The newsletter will contain regular updates on all Cosc’s ongoing projects and funding news.
